Rental Cars

All rental car companies at Sacramento International Airport (SMF) may be accessed by taking the Rental Car Terminal Shuttle to the Rental Car Terminal. All on-airport rental car companies are listed on the Rental Car Map page.

Taxis

On-Demand taxi service is provided by the Sacramento International Taxi Owners Association (SITOA) by contract. You can locate a taxi in the ground transportation area adjacent to the baggage claim area at Terminal A and across from the airport hotel at Terminal B. The rates are:

• $2.80 for the first mile, $2.40 for each additional mile.
• One-way between the airport and downtown is approximately $27.00.
• Round-trip between Sacramento International Airport and downtown Sacramento is $50.00.
• Seniors and military personnel are eligible for a 20% discount.

On-Call Van / ExecuCar Sedan Service

SuperShuttle is the exclusive provider of on-call van service at Sacramento International Airport. They provide service to Sacramento and surrounding areas. Pickup areas for passengers are located in the ground transportation area adjacent to baggage claim in Terminal A and at the center island curb in front of Terminal B. Waiting time at the terminal is usually limited to 15 min. Travel time between SMF and Sacramento downtown (12 miles) is about 15 min. Fare is $13 one way and $24 round trip with advanced booking.

SuperShuttle also offers ExecuCar Sedan Service. Uniformed ExecuCar chauffeurs will take up to four passengers per vehicle for about $40 one way between SMF and Sacramento downtown.

Public Transportation
